Our commitment to sustainable aviation as the first Travel Agency’s “Compensaid Corporate Program SAF Ambassador” in Thailand.
On 1st March 2023, Siam Express became the first Travel Agency in Thailand to join the Lufthansa Group to make a bulk purchase of Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) for business flights consequently receiving a Scope 3 Mitigation Certificate for Eco Balance Reporting.
Our company entered into this commitment to express our common endeavor with leading airlines to reduce the CO2-emissions caused by air travel. As the prices for SAF are currently significantly higher than those of fossil kerosene, we hope that our contribution and effort locally will make SAF more broadly available to aviation in general.
In addition to the SAF contribution, Siam Express also spreads the word by giving information to Travel Agency members at Airlines’ seminar and industry events.
